Club Web, Albany http://www.albany.net/~mxr ClubWeb is an online music resource for artist and audience alike created by musician/ computerist Mike Rose. It originally grew out of the frustration he experienced when he first started trying to promote his band, Solomons RamaDa. As he developed his lists of phone and fax numbers, clubs, radio contacts, and whatnot, he realized he was creating a profile of the Albany music scene. That actually seemed like a worthwhile objective, so he put together what he had and hoped that others would contribute as well. So far, Metroland has been supplying concert dates, and Buzzzz has supplied its Band Network page, giving every band a simple contact listing on the Web. Mike plans to enhance the basic listings with graphics and sound, and expand ClubWeb's information base. He hopes to list every band, club, publication, studio, and radio station. Additionally, he wants to include reviews of concerts and recordings and a photo gallery. While he's trying to collect as much as he can, the best way to make sure you're included is to send your information to him at: Mike Rose mxr@albany.net 1 Wilbur St. Albany, NY 12202 Book House Online Would you like to order a book without leaving home?
