About the EcoLinking WWW Page

EcoLinking is the act of using computers to link up with environmentalists
around the world and was coined by Don Rittner in his 1992 book "EcoLinking -
Everyone's Guide to Online Environmental Information" (Peachpit Press, 1992).
EcoLinking is for sharing information, software, research, and other data, on all aspects of the global environment.

On this WEB site you can meet others who share a concern for the welfare of
the planet. You can learn about various environmental issues around the
world, and how you can participate in working on solving problems.

Throughout these pages you can:

>read the complete text of reviews of environmental software and
 publications;
>find educational resources for your children;
>learn where to buy "green" products;
>find an environmental organization; and,
>automatically link to other environmental resources on the WEB
 giving you access to thousands of documents and research data.

But the most important resource here on the Net are people. You can find
hundreds of people online who share your concern about the global
environment. By working together as one or two people, or in small groups, or
as large unified coalitions, you can help provide a better environment for
our children and their children, and for the sake of the planet.

Feel free to send us the URL's of new Environmental sites so we may add them.
