Coriolis Publishes "Awesome!" Book for the iMac Revolution

Guy Kawasaki, Mac evangelist and former Director of Product Development at Apple, applauds The iMac Book, saying in his Foreword, "When Don asked me to write the Foreword for The iMac Book, I was thrilled.... There is a wealth of information packed in this book. .

Scottsdale, AZ, February 11, 1999 - "Awesome!" This is the first response from readers who have seen The iMac Book published by The Coriolis Group. "No one has ever before created a book like this for the computer field," says Keith Weiskamp, President and CEO of The Coriolis Group. "We've gone all out to package the book as a 'twin sister' to the iMac computer. The cool blue, translucent look is avant-garde and 'out-of-the-box,'just like the iMac itself."

The iMac Book is the complete technology and cyberculture resource on Apple's new iMac. Written by Don Rittner, a confessed Macaholic and founder of one of the oldest

Mac User Groups in the country, this book shows you how to really put your iMac to work. You will learn how to run applications for other platforms including Windows 95/98, and how to troubleshoot problems, choose upgrade paths, add peripherals, and increase your computer memory by yourself

If you want to connect and communicate with fellow iMac users from around the world, The iMac Book details how to do it. The book shows you how to get your iMac Internet ready, how to find the best iMac-related sites in the world, how to chat in real time with fellow iMac users, how to do research on the Internet, and where to download the best freeware and software.

"We believe The iMac Book will become a collector's item," says Weiskamp. "It's a great book-both in content and design. To have Guy Kawasaki endorse the book like he has makes me even more confident that this is THE book for iMac users. Because of the translucent blue look, we've even had readers ask whether we'll be putting the book out in fruity colors."

The iMac Book by Don Rittner will be available the end of February in book and

computer stores nationwide.
